EASTLAKE AUTO GLASS OF BELLEVUE LIMITED WARRANTY

 

Your replacement automobile glass is warranted against leakage and workmanship for as long as you the original customer owns the vehicle. Defects in material are warranted if the shop is notified within 30 days from the install date. Damage not involving defective workmanship or materials is expressly excluded from coverage under this warranty. Eastlake Auto Glass must be given the opportunity to inspect vehicle damage prior to approval of any warranty claim.

 

WINDSHIELD ADHESIVE CURE TIME

CAUTION

Your windshield has been installed by a NGA certified installer. He has used state-of-the-art automotive sealant that needs sufficient cure time to meet the federal motor vehicle safety standards for windshield retention. The “minimum drive away time” for this vehicle is determined on a number of factors which may include; the presence of a passenger side airbag, adhesive used & the temperature & humidity at time of installation. Out of concern for our valued customers we strongly recommend that you avoid driving your vehicle during the cure period of the automotive adhesive sealant.

 

ADAS RECALIBRATION

 Eastlake Auto Glass is a one stop shop for this! We are able to perform the windshield replacement and the calibration of the ADAS system in a day, which saves you a trip to the dealership after replacement! Most Newer Vehicles are equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) cameras. After windshield replacement has been completed, we will need to recalibrate the ADAS cameras. After windshield replacement has been completed, we will recalibrate the camera system to make sure all cameras are functioning correctly. This is to increase the safety of you and your vehicle and to reduce collision possibilities. ADAS uses image processing cameras and other sensors to monitor vehicle surroundings and detect potentially dangerous situations from occurring.

 

WINDSHIELD CHIP REPAIR

The repair process involves the injection of special adhesives into the damaged part of the glass. The degree of success of each repair is a function of several variables. The best results are obtained when the damage is recent, the point of impact is small, the cracks around the damaged area are small & there is no moisture or other foreign matter in the damaged area. In some cases the attempt to repair a windshield can result in the chip or crack becoming larger, and we are not responsible for such damage.

 

Please avoid a High-Pressure car wash for 4-6 hours after installation – hand wash is just fine!
