Your replacement automobile glass is warranted against leakage and workmanship for as long as you the original customer owns the vehicle. Defects in material are warranted if shop is notified within 30 days from install date. Damage not involving defective workmanship or materials is expressly excluded from coverage under this warranty.
WINDSHIELD ADHESIVE CURE TIME
Your windshield has been installed by a NGA certified installer. He has used state-of-the-art automotive sealant that needs sufficient cure time to meet the federal motor vehicle safety standards for windshield retention. The “minimum drive away time” for this vehicle is determined on a number of factors which may include; the presence of a passenger side airbag, adhesive used & the temperature & humidity at time of installation. Out of concern for our valued customers we strongly recommend that you avoid driving your vehicle during the cure period of the automotive adhesive sealant.
Most Vehicles now are equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) cameras. After windshield replacement has been completed most vehicle manufacturers recommend you bring your vehicle in for recalibration to make sure all cameras are functioning correctly.
WARNING: The ADAS may not function properly until it has been recalibrated. There are some Camera Systems that have a message or warning symbol that may appear if the ADAS is not operating correctly. Please do not rely on the operation of the Camera System until it has been properly recalibrated.
WINDSHIELD CHIP REPAIR
The repair process involves the injection of special adhesives into the damaged part of the glass. The degree of success of each repair is a function of several variables. The best results are obtained when the damage is recent, the point of impact is small, the cracks around the damaged area are small & there is no moisture or other foreign matter in the damaged area. In some cases the attempt to repair a windshield can result in the chip or crack becoming larger, and we are not responsible for such damage.
